Is setting the team to have an offensive/defensive mentality still a thing that's allowed in the new system? I think I've only seen like one team's page mention it so far.
I'm trying to test out >Dunder's formation and give it the best possible shot for the remaining friendly, but the only thing I've found that I liked so far would require switching the change atk/def levels.

Two things regarding these tutorials:
1.They are using newer version of blender than 2.49, so some elements of the interface will look different and some tools will be in different tabs, but not too much, you should be able to locate the key features with little difficulty after a short familiarization.
2.Some of the features shown in these tutorials can not be applied to making PES faces (like the extrusion tool, UV unwrap, or the mirror modifiers) due to things like the infamous verixes limit. So try not to rely on such techniques in your training and stick to simple transformations, it's all you need.

In that case, you will still FEI and the plugin it comes with, and the process of importing/exporting is shown in the video in my earlier post.
As for compatibility PES is pretty forgiving for me so far, as long as you don't change the number of vertices or import the bin for hair as a face it should work. FEI won't let you import an invalid FEF to bin anyway.
Also from my experience UV unwrap will distort your bin file, so don't use it.
I'm still green with all this, but this was enough to allow me to make working heads for PES. I hope it will be helpful.

So, I went through and redid all the rankings from the official excel file. There were 2 more errors, /cm/ recieved too many points from the Winter Cup (the table had them listed as drawing with /r9k/ and beating /sp/ when it was the other way around) and /g/ had too few points, one of their friendlies in Spring 2012 wasn't counted.
Here is a complete updated Ranking excel file, it has a page for the 2013 Spring Friendlies, but they are not counted in the final tally. I would like the current rankings to be correct, before looking ahead.

Same thing still happening. PESJP loads in well enough to change the menus, but it's like kitserver and gameplay tool aren't having any effect, and it's not loading from the pesjp save folder.

Ok so, I tried the clean PES install/ DP4 (directly into the PES directory img folder now to match what Firo was doing)/ PESJP 2 routine on my laptop which had never had any of this shit before and it failed in the exact same way. I want to guess it's like an OS version or 32/64 bit or user account kind of issue at this point. There's some sort of common link.
I'm sort of running out of things I can try right now other than installing PESJP from scratch again and trying to screw with the resources myself. In the name of accuracy, do you have what version of PESJP export 2 is using, Sexcopter?
