A1: Earth History (The only section so far.)

1.) Prehistory: (Earthbound, Zelda, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem)

a.) Primordial age (At least 3 billion BC, maybe more):
In a last ditch effort to defeat Giygas, Ness, Jeff, Paula, and Poo transfer their consciousness into robots so that they may travel through time to case Pokey and defeat Giygas while he is still amassing power.
They find that Giygas has overrun the past with several robotic creatures. They find him in the Cave of time, a cave situated geographically near the Deep Darkness, and thus could be inferred to be the place where life originated
After wandering through the cave of time in their robot shells, they find Giygas’ base of operations and find him incubating inside the “Devil’s Machine.” Pokey is there (significantly, without a robot shell), and informs them that even at this early stage in Giygas’ power development, he is still more powerful than they could ever imagine.
Unable to defeat Giygas, the team instead turns to Pokey’s spider mech, and cause his to retreat through history, but not before turning off the devil machine.
Giygas, his immense power set free, is instantly disintegrated into a sort of gaseous, psychic entity, with an unpredictable attack pattern. The team is hopeless to stop it.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:03 No.12929481
Paula, desperate, uses her own mysterious power to contact the people of her time. Their combined prayers and hopes cause a great psychic backlash to strike Giygas, defeating him once and for all.
The robot husks are destroyed, but the hero’s consciousnesses, thanks to the immense willpower of all of them, transport themselves back to their prone bodies.

b.) Origin of life, magic, and religion (Immediately afterwards):
Theoretically, the immense unpredictable energy shot out by Giygas and by the prayers of the people of the 90s could have caused the precise set of events that caused singular-cell life to form in Earth. Thus, in a way, Giygas may have created all the life that he sought to destroy. Of course, this is just theory, but it is a poetically enticing one at that.
Another thing that could have happened could be that Giygas’ destruction formed a sort of rift, or lingering psychic presence that is interpreted during many times as the basis of religion in that time. Take the Triforce for example. It’s possible that when Giygas was destroyed, the Triforce, or the three entities that are identified as Din, Farore, and Nayru who in turn created the Triforce, was created out of his remnant. That psychic remnant would have created the necessary conditions for life, as hypothesized above, before disappearing from the world and creating the Triforce from where they disappeared. An interesting note is that the three elemental powers at the 4 heroes control, Fire, Ice, and Thunder, coincide nicely with the three elemental attributes of the three Hylian goddesses, Din (Fire), Nayru (Water, which Ice is a subset of), and Farore (Wind, which Thunder could be considered a subset of).
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:03 No.12929503
Because of this, references to magic, “Dark” versions of the earth, or anything else unexplainable could be the psychic remnant of the defeated Giygas, harnessed or otherwise given form.
A few such unexplainable occurrences, for example, the phenomenon of Palutena of Angel land, and the twin goddesses Yune and Ashera mentioned in the Fire Emblem wars, could have been the result of the psychic backlash from Giygas’ death combined with the 4 kid’s subconscious predisposed ideas about good and evil, order, and chaos.

1.5.) Before the evolution of humanity (Sometime before 200,000 BC; Kid Icarus, Zelda)

a.) Goddesses
For some unknown reason, perhaps because of the lack or reliance of all 4 of the young heroes who defeated Giygas of Mother figures, nearly all of Giygas’ remnants became female in aspect. Most of the below is, of course, hypothetical, but is still an interesting theory on what happened pre-man.

b.) Din, Nayru, Farore, and the Triforce
The three Godesses who would go on to form the basis of the Hylian religion settled in the valley that would later be identified as ancient Hyrule fairly quickly. The three of them were very unstable, form-wise, and thus had a very short life-span to do what they felt they had to do. Geographically, the middle east, near Africa, is where they settled, and it is not untoward to connect the goddesses settling down and imbuing the land there with their power with the fact that early man evolved out of that area.
What exactly was done by the three goddesses is not entirely clear, but according to later accounts of religion, Din created the land, Farore filled it with life, and Nayru filled it with intelligence. Thanks to this account, we can probably assume that Nayru influenced the process of evolution.
After they were done, they used the last of their power to create the artifact of the Triforce, which would grant a wish to anyone who touched it.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:04 No.12929539
c.) Angel Land
While the Earth was being formed, up in the sky a psychic presence formed a much more stable pair of entities, known as Palutena and Medusa. These two goddesses were ideological opposites to eachother, to the extremes of “Good” and “Evil.” Palutena, using her powers, bound Medusa down in the Deep Darkness on earth, calling it the “Underworld.”
With Medusa out of the way, Palutena created a world of angels called “Angel land,” with a strange resemblance to greek or roman tastes. She also created three treasures, a sacred bow and arrow set, a shield with a mirror sheen, and a great suit of armor. Medusa, however, created a goodly amount of evil creatures down in the underworld, biding her time until she could strike.
Medusa’s time came about 1000 years after she was first sealed away. She attacked Angel land, causing Palutena to retaliate with her normally peaceful centurian guard. Her unprepared army was vanquished easily, many turned to stone and put on display in various castles and temples that she built, many of which stood for hundreds of thousands of years afterwards. Palutena was held captive in her own
In the midst of battle, one soldier survived. A small grunt angel named Pit. Once had had gotten wind of Palutena’s capture, he abandoned the failing battle in the underworld and climbed his way back up, across the earth, and back into Angel land. Meanwhile, he gathered the three treasures which had been locked up in Medusa’s temple forts. Using the treasures, he flew up through the skyworld and faced down the ugly face of medusa, bloated with power. After a long struggle, he finally defeated her, and saved Palutena. Palutena offered her hand in marriage in thanks, and she appointed Pit the captain of her guard.

As The Hylian goddesses is seen as the basis for The Hylian religion, Palutena’s struggle is often translated through the ages as the monotheistic struggle of a god against a devil, though the true account is not usually cited.

2.) Early humanity (At least 200,000 BC; Earthbound, Zelda, Fire Emblem)

a.) Ancient humanity:
Consciousness was attained by the homo sapien race around this time in Africa. Dinosaurs disappeared from the surface of the earth millions of years before, hidden underneath the earth in the Deep Darkness. A form of Homo sapien also set down their roots in the Deep darkness. They are the race which eventually evolved into the modern Tenda race.
Great stones, which had acquired consciousness in the aftermath of Giygas, had been retelling the story of Giygas’ demise to the underground humans. From these great stones, humans developed rudimentary language. This spread to the surface quickly, and the forefront of modern culture soon followed and began to follow.

b.) Ancient Hylians:
A thousand years or so later, humanity had begun to evolve away from the African continent. In the Middle East, a religious culture had begun to form around the symbology of the “Triforce,” an ancient force that takes the physical form of three triangles arranged in a triangle (Perhaps a remnant of Jeff’s mind, and his understanding of geometry and mathematics) that would grant a wish to anyone that touched it. Because this power was so awesome, 7 sages sealed it away and used their powers (Unknown if it was through early naturally occurring PSI, or by some other means) to give the destiny of protecting the Triforce to a specific hylian bloodline. This bloodline had three children, one for each aspect of the Triforce, and they each went on to sire three families, destined to keep the balance of the Triforce in check until it is destroyed.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:05 No.12929575
One branch went to live in exile in the desert, and was one of the founders of the Gerudo race, while one became the bloodline of the ruler of the kingdom. The last faded into obscurity and peasentry.

c.) Ancient continental makeup:
Learn more about Fire Emblem storyline and continuity, then fit it in here.

3.) Pre and early Bronze age. (at least 4000-2000 BC; Fire Emblem, Zelda, Kid Icarus)

a.) The Fire Emblem wars:
The Fire Emblem wars were a time of great wartime among the various continents. Various kingdoms fought for dominance over one another, several claiming to have an ancient and powerful symbol known as the “Fire Emblem.” This item, usually a weapon or item of great power, would frequently be at the center of some struggle or other for kingdoms. The theory here is that there was a “True” Fire Emblem many years before, but it was lost or destroyed thousands of years before, and since the legends were vague at best, many kingdoms claimed to have a “Fire Emblem,” but none actually did.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:06 No.12929586
An extremely turbulent time, many kingdoms died, were conquered, renamed, or disappeared altogether. Most are unclear as to the exact dating of most of these fights, but several “magically enhanced” species rose out of this era. They would go on to evolve into different species further on in the timeline.
“Magic” was common in these eras, but owing to it’s scarcity in later eras it is believed that the further away time got from the origin of life and magic (Giygas’ demise) the weaker the influence and power of “magic” got. This lead to the theory that Magic was a misnomer, and that the true name for it is “Psychic energy” or PSI.
If this is true, the Pre-bronze age is the first definite, recorded appearance of naturally occurring PSI in the timeline.

b.) Hylia and the transition to Hyrule.
Owing to it’s unique geological placement surrounded on all sides by mountains and bodies of water, Hylia was relatively untouched by the turbulent age going on beyond their mountain.
Like with the Fire Emblem Wars, magic was common, but only among certain people, and, like during the FE Wars, “magically augmented” species were common.
The timeline is incredibly vague, but at some point, Hylia’s name was changed to Hyrule, perhaps after some disaster during which the country was rallied together under a stronger banner and a new name. Though “Hylian” was still used to describe the people, “True Hylians” were described as proven descendants of the sages and royalty.
Some time after the name change, the first of the “Triforce incidents” occurred. Unfortunately, these incidents were so many and varied that it’s difficult to place each one chronologically. Basically, over the course of 4 thousand years, the descendants of the three chosen children, always named “Link,” “Zelda,” and “Ganondorf” or more simply, “Ganon,” depending on the translation, clashed over the possession and balance of the Triforce.
Two or three such incidents occurred during this age, the first being the “Hero of Time” incident, oddly enough the first noted instance of time travel in the timeline. The second and third incidents are unknown, as are all further incidents until the last recorded one.
Of note is the references in many of these stories to various tools the hero uses, sometimes including some kind of great reflective shield, other times involving invincible suits of armor, and almost universally involving a bow and arrow imbued with light energy. The parallels to the Angel land conflict can’t readily be ignored here.

c.) Termina:
An odd incident. After the “Hero of Time’s” defeat of the Chosen child of power, This time’s Link disappeared into an alternate universe Hyrule. He reappeared soon after and never really spoke of what occurred there.

4.) Mid and late Bronze age; Iron age (2000-0 BC; Zelda)

a.) Hyrule’s great heroes:
Hyrule’s Triforce struggles continue on for 2 thousand years more, essentially causing a revolt every 200-1000 years. Finally, the Ganondorf line succeeds in tipping the balance in power’s favor and essentially floods Hyrule and the surrounding areas, coinciding with Noah’s biblical flood.
Hyrule and some surrounding areas have a relative dark age, boat travel becomes the preferred mode of transportation, and, thanks to the influence of the Triforce in the destruction of Hyrule, the Water only floods Hyrule, causing the surrounding areas to dry out relatively quickly. After a few hundred years of flooding, during which humanity soldiers on, the child-like Kokiri further evolve into a strange wood-sprite form, and the Bird Laguz, most prominent in the Fire Emblem wars, emigrate to the high mountainous islands and further adapt themselves, changing their name and losing the ability to transform. The Water-loving Zora, being freshwater creatures, are unable to survive in this saltwater environment and die out.
Another hero appears to rebalance the Triforce, and succeeds in defeating Ganon, though in doing so he and his companions, Tetra (the modern incarnation of Zelda, rechristened by pirates), and the King of Red Lions (The former king of Hyrule transformed into a boat in a cruel joke on Ganondorf’s behalf), destroy the once prosperous land of Hyrule for good, by destroying the magically untouched land under the waves with thousands of pounds of water.

.
Hyrule, having finally been destroyed, frees the three bloodlines of the triforce’s influence, and the religion fades into obscurity, to be replaced by the growing Jewish religion, as well as making way for the budding of Christianity.
The Triforce was buried by sediment over the next few thousands of years, and is lost.

5.) Middle ages, industrial revolution (1-1800 AD; Kid Icarus):

a.) Magic disappears:
Due to the growth of Christianity, in which magic is seen as sinful and of the devil, magic is thoroughly squelched over this period. Naturally occurring PSI becomes a relic of a lost age.
However, the industrial revolution signals the rise of technology reigning supreme, proving that in the absence of “magic” humanity can still adapt.

b.) Skyworld fades
The fading of Skyworld had been happening slowly ever since the defeat of Medusa. Around the industrial revolution is when the entirety of Angel land disappeared entirely. Palutena, now bereft of her children, faded away into a psychic remant throughout history, exerting herself to give certain humans, usually girls, powerful abilities in times of need.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:15 No.12929894
6.)1900s (Mother 1)

a.) George and Maria
Sometime in the 1900s, a man and woman named George and Maria were abducted by aliens of Giygas’ original race. Their purpose was to care for the infant Giygas until he was grown.
Eventually they grew to love the strange young alien, but for one thing. Maria’s song of love was rejected by Giygas, perhaps because of some alien aversion to the concept of “Love” and “affection.”
It so happens that Giygas’ race had independently developed the power of PSI, or the power of harvesting the untapped potential of the mind. George was entranced by this power, and he taught himself how to use it. He planned to escape with Maria, but failed to save her, and she was lost. George, however, made it back to Earth and continued raising his biological children, while Maria stayed with Giygas and eventually died of grief, her image and psyche residing on earth near the point where Giygas’ race planned to invade.
George practiced the power of PSI, and mastered it, creating a biological trait in himself that caused his male heirs to inherit his unfocused power.

7.) 20th century (Mother 1, Earthbound, Kid Icarus, Mario, Donkey kong)

a.) New York(60s or 70s)
Mario and Luigi, secretly natural residents of the Mushroom Kingdom, an alternate reality of earth, are spirited away into this reality so that the growing Bowser could not destroy them while they were still babies.

b.) George’s Grandson: (unspecified year in the 1980s)
Ninten, the Grandson of George and Maria, awakes one morning to find the world has gone upside down. Masses of people have been abducted, others are in chaos. Animals, plants, and inanimate objects have sprung to life and started attacking people. Ninten also discovered the genetic trait for Psychic ability. He is forced to team up with several children from neighboring towns, including Ana, a girl that, thanks to Palutena’s still lingering influence, had a i-in-a-million natural ability to use PSI, Loid, a child prodigy, and Teddy, a violent and vengeful boy, but with a gentle soul.
To defeat Giygas, they have to enlist the help of Maria’s psychic projection. They must search around for the bits and pieces of the song Maria used to sing to Giygas. Once they succeed at that, Maria disappears, along with the world of Magicant that she inhabits.
Loid, Ana, and Ninten then fight the powerful Giygas. His psychic power is terrible, and they can barely survive the storm. The last of Maria’s conciousness then speaks to Ninten, and he begins to sing the song. Giygas, overpowered by the feeling of love for his surrogate mother, orders his army to retreat, but vows to come back.
Ninten and co. succeed in saving the abductees.

c.) Brooklyn (1981)
Mario and Luigi have grown up to be plumbers. Mario’s current girlfriend, Pauline, gets herself kidnapped by an escaped ape from the zoo. Donkey “Cranky” Kong, as the creature is named, takes Pauline to the top of a construction site where Mario is working. Mario fights his way up the building, and finally saves Pauline by pulling the bolts out of the steel girders DK stands on, dropping DK to the bottom of the construction site and subduing him.
DK escapes however, and Mario, having heroics in his veins, gives chase. He follows DK to his home Jungle and traps him in a cage. Fortunately, Donkey Kong Jr., DK’s son, has seen this, and frees his father, sending Mario’s misguided attempt at heroics packing.
Mario has since broken up with Pauline for unspecified reasons.

d.) Beginning of an era, Brooklyn (1987)
Mario and Luigi were on a job in the sewer system one day, when they heard something. A Voice calling for “help.” Mario jumps to the rescue, but is ambushed in the sewer by the Koopa troopas and related creatures, who have overrun the sewers. After fighting their way past them, Mario jumps through the pipe in which he hears the cry for help, closely followed by his slightly cowardly, but still loyal brother.
That pipe, it turns out was a dimensional rift in reality, which lead the two brothers to their home dimension, an alternate universe Earth, AKA, the Mushroom Kingdom. They were rarely seen in Brooklyn since.

e.) Giygas strikes again (Unspecified year in the 1990s)
Ness, a young relative of Ninten (as it is physically impossible for Ness to be Ninten’s son, but the family resemblance is too great for them to be complete strangers, perhaps Ninten is Ness’ uncle), lives in the town of Onett, in the state of Eagleland. Similar to his relation, his world is turned upside down when a meteor crashes, apparently through time, to land on a small hill overlooking his house. He discovers, perhaps because of radiation off the meteor or similar, that he has inherited George’s psychic power. He and his next door neighbor, Pokey, venture out to find Pokey’s brother Picky.
Once at the meteor, Ness is informed by an intergalactic time-traveler, named buzz-buzz, that he and three additional children are the “Chosen ones” set to defeat the growing threat of Giygas, which has already taken hold in the future.
Pokey chickens out, but soon disappears from his home. Ness ventures forth, finding friends in Paula, a girl who inherited powers similar to ana, Jeff, a child prodigy, like Loid, and Poo, a physically imposing warrior, like Teddy. Together, the four children go on a quest to defeat Giygas, using the power of Ness’ “My sanctuary” locations, mysterious spots that Ness can absorb power from.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:16 No.12929947
Of note is Paula’s mysterious power. It is the implication that Palutena’s influence is what gave her the gift, but Paula was gifted with the further skill of being able to pray to the angel for further gifts and guidance, a skill unique to her. Perhaps Palutena, being a remnant of the battle in the past, instinctively knew that this girl would be special, and thus gave her more abilities than usual. Of course, she was right, as it is Paula’s ability to speak psychically through space and time that defeats Giygas once at for all.
Like the first time, Giygas abducts various people, including Jeff’s father, Dr. Andonauts. After saving everyone, the group learns that “Giygas” doesn’t even exist in this time anymore. He is biding his time in the origin of the earth, amassing power to finally destroy the earth, and with it, hopefully, the memory of his surrogate parents.
Dr. Andonauts and Jeff construct a “Phase distorter” that can transport them through time and space, marking the first instance of scientifically achieved time-travel. (Although Pokey achieved this earlier, it does not count because he used alien tech.) Ness and company, their consciousness encased in robot shells, travels back to the origin of earth (see section 1.a).
After Giygas is defeated, Ness and company part ways and go on with their lives, though with the implication of romance between Ness and Paula.

f.) The Jungle (unspecified set of years in the 1990s)
Donkey Kong Jr, now grown up and having dropped the “Jr.” from the end of his name, is now the leader of the Kong clan. He has a large hoard of Bananas, which he and his young chimpanzee friend, Diddy, share. Unfortunately, King K. Rool, a Lizard-like creature calling himself a “Kremling,” succeeds in stealing this banana hoard. This is the start of a set of escalating events of the Kremling clan Vs. the Kong family.
In said conflict, it was a back-and-forth battle. Kremlings stole DK’s bananas, DK gets Bananas back, Kremlings kidnap DK in an effort to cut the head off of the Kong dynasty, Diddy and Dixie get him back, Kremlings then kidnap both Diddy AND DK, and so on. It eventually resolves itself with the entire Kong family making a stand against K. Rool, and defeating him once and for all.

8.) 21st century (Donkey Kong)

a.) Kong clan wars (unspecified year in the Aught years)
Donkey Kong, to keep his position as head of the Kong clan, has to defeat four rivals from within the family, Dread, Ninja, Sumo, and Karate. He succeeds admirably, and collects more bananas for his stash besides.

9.)Near Future (2010-2040; Chibi-robo, Gyromite, Advance Wars)

a.) R.O.B, and great strides in the field of robotics. (2013)
Professor Hector, a great inventor of his day, invented an advanced, sentient robot, which he named R.O.B (Robotic Operating Buddy). R.O.B was the first of his kind, and paved the way for robotics from all walks of life on earth.
Unfortunately, Hector died in a freak sleepwalking accident, and R.O.B was shelved

b.) Sunsoft Co. (unspecified year in the latter half of the 21st century)
The Sunsoft Corporation, a Japanese robotics firm, standing on the shoulders of the like of Professor Hector, created several lines of Robots, including the Giga-robo, and the much more popular Chibi-robo. In it’s initial run, a million Chibi units were manufactured, and distributed around the world. A second model designed for use in parks was invented a few years later and was also a resounding success.

c.)A time of War (2030)
4 great Military powers had sprung up during the 21st century. Orange Star(descendant of modern day USA), Green Earth(Europe), Yellow Comet(Asian continent), and Blue Moon(Russia). In the fashion of the day, War had become sort of a game to play for the higher classes, and the commanding officers rarely gave consideration to the lives they toyed with. Because of this decadence, these four powers were easily coerced into World War by a hitherto unknown 5th military power, Black Hole.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:17 No.12929987
Black hole had used human cloning to create an evil version of the Orange Star commander, and used that commander to attack the four nations and, in the confusion of war, rise to the top of the heap. Fortunately, the Orange Star army caught wind of this and took back the country of Cosmo land from Sturm’s reign.

d.)Sturm Strikes again (2032)
Sturm, having survived his previous encounter with the earth’s military, Sturm turns away from the militarily strong cosmo land, and instead sets his sights on Macro land. Orange Star’s commander, Andy, once again pushes Sturm back and saves their countries from sheer annialation from Sturm’s Death Ray. Sturm is backstabbed by Hawke, his second-in-command, and Black hole leaves Macro land.

e.) Von Bolt and the fall of the Black hole (2037)
Black hole sets his sights on the country of Omega land, hoping to succeed where sturm had failed. His plan is to suck the land dry using devices called “Dark Obelisks. What Von Bolt does not count on is Jake and Rachel heading up the Orange star army and once again rallying the other nations against Black hole. Hawke, the reformed former second-in-command, kills Von Bolt by destroying his life support, but is himself killed in the process. Omega land begins the slow process of rebuilding.

10.) First contact (2112 AD AKA Year 1553 C.C (after the Federation’s calendar); Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Metroid)

a.) Earth and the galactic federation.
Having finally reaching outer-space flight and exploration on their own, Earth is contacted by the galactic federation of planets for membership. Earth gladly joins and is ushered into the space age with open arms.
The Lylat system becomes a valuable trade partner, Corneria in particular, thanks to human comfort around such familiar, yet strange aliens. Because of this, many humans decided to emigrate to Corneria, either for fun, profit, or other reasons.

b.) adoption of the C.C (Cosmic calendar) calendar system.
After joining the federation, all space travel operated under the CC calendar. Earth decided to keep it’s AD calendar system for local use however and this has always been a bone of contention with visiting aliens.

11.) Space peace (1970-2000 CC; Metroid, F-zero)

a.) The Chozo (74)
The Chozo are an ancient race. One of the oldest members of the galactic federation. In 1974, a human baby, born on space colony K-2L, was acquired and cared for by their people living on the planet Zebes, taught all of their tricks and trade, and given the name “Samus Aran.” Her Parents had been killed by a Pirate attack on the colony, but she had been saved.

b.) F-zero (2000 CC (2559 AD))
On earth, lazy federalist have grown fat and content with their lazy lives, and demanded entertainment. A great race was called for, in the tradition of old earth Formula 1 racing. Racers the universe over took the challenge and became regular racers on the galactic circuit.

12.) The great Metroid scare. (2001- 2030 CC; Metroid)

a.) Samus’ Mission (2001 CC)
Samus Aran, now grown up, has become an accomplished bounty huntress. Her latest mission is to infiltrate and destroy a Pirate outpost on the planet Zebes. The Pirates had caused the extinction of the Chozo people in order to take the planet for their own, and had left it as a hunk of it’s former greatness.
Samus defeated the Mother Brain’s 2 generals, Kraid and Ridley, and then took out the Mother brain herself. The self-destruct sequence of the base then took out the escaped Metroids. Samus was victorious, but her mission was not over.

b.) Phazon (2003 CC)
On the planet of Tallon IV, a former home to Chozo, a meteorite had brought with it a dangerous substance called “Phazon.” This substance could grant immense power, but inevitably killed anyone it came in contact with.
Samus discovered that the Pirates, led by the rebuilt Ridley, had begun mining the phazon, and incorporated it into themselves and various creatures to power them up. Samus quickly jumped into action and put a stop to this. In the process she acquired a way to use phazon herself.
Samus destroyed the terrible Metroid Prime creature, a metroid living off of Phazon. In it’s death throes, Samus’s phason power was stripped off of her, to form another entity entirely.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:19 No.12930023
c.) Aether (2004 CC)
Samus was then told to see to a distress call on the planet Aether. It seems a species called the “Ing” invaded, and split the planet into two dimensions, a light and a dark. Samus put this right, and in the process put down the Phason-infused “Dark Samus,” and embodiment of herself and the Metroid Prime.

d.) The Aurora units (6 months later)
Samus was once again contacted, along with fellow bounty hunters Ghor, Rhundas, and Gandrayda. They must work together to repair the Aurora units and defeat the space pirates that did it. Unfortunately, the hunters had all become corrupted in a fight with Dark Samus, but were given new weapons to use this power to their advantage.
One by one, the hunters all succumbed to corruption, except Samus, who had to defeat each of her former allies on Bryyo, Elesia, and the Pirate homeworld.
Samus, to save her own life, had to destroy the source of phazon on all of the planets. She then had to travel to Phaaze, and destroy the source of all phazon.
She succeeds, both killing Dark Samus, and also expunging her body of all of its phazon.

e.) SR388 and the aftermath (2005 CC)
Samus is then sent on one last mission, to annihilate the Metroids once and for all. She is sent to the Metroid homeworld SR388, and roams about the cavernous planet, killing metroid after metroid. She finally finds the queen, and destroys her.
Samus then finds one last egg. A baby metroid hatches from it, but, rather than attacking, it latches onto Samus, thinking she is its mother. Against orders, she takes it to Ceres space station, where they begin performing tests on the first live specimen of the species.
This does not last long, for almost as soon as she is leaving, she gets a distress signal. Ridley, fully regenerated, attacked the station and took the baby metroid back with him to Zebes. Samus is forced to follow him, to find the pirate base is once again fully functional.
She fights her way through again. Finally destroying the Mother brain for good, with the help of the escaped baby metroid, now fully grown and, presumably, on it’s way to becoming a queen. The Metroid latches onto samus and gives her a great amount of power, but is soon after destroyed.
After defeating the Brain for the last time, Samus escapes the planet, which is destroyed for once and for all.

f.) Adam (unknown)
Samus’ favorite commanding officer was Adam Malkovich, who presumably died in the line of duty.

g.) X (2006 CC)
On SR388, Samus is given the task of assisting scientists in collecting samples of creatures from the planet. Unfortunately, with the destruction of the Metroids, another species had become the dominant hunter. A parasitic species that was the metroids main food source, but thrived on killing it’s host and taking over its body.
Samus is infected, and her suit is almost completely destroyed and rebuilt. She is saved by a vaccine made from the baby metroid, that caused her genetic structure to use X parasites for sustenance. Her appearance, however, is drastically changed.
She is then sent after a distress signal from the Biologic Space Laboratory. It seems that the X parasites had overrun the place. Her computer, ADAM, guides her through the space station quelling the X menace.
Samus then learns that the Federation was planning all along to use the X parasites as weapons of war, and were also breeding Metroids for the same purpose, and fearing that, Samus plans to wipe the parasites and the metroids, along with SR388, out of existence. She is held back bys several things, first is the SA-X, the X parasite that had infected her, and taken over her former suit, and the ADAM computer himself, who is under the federations command. After defeating the SA-X, Samus then faces down ADAM, who, it is revealed, is actually Adam Malkovich’s personality in a computer. Adam’s old personality wins out in the end, and Samus is allowed to crash the space station into the planet, causing both to be completely destroyed.

13.) Earth’s downfall (2100-2200 CC; Advanced Wars, Pokemon)

a.) War! (2100 CC)
While humanity expands outward towards the stars, the humans on Earth have all but disregarded the space-dwellers. A great war had begun between the Lazurians, a descendant country of the Blue Moon army, and the kingdom of Rubinelle, a descendant country of the Orange star. Escalation has caused a great hatred to form between these two countries.

b.) Destruction (2110 CC)
In the middle of the war torn world, the unexpected happens. A huge meteor filled with a strange space virus, as well as a peculian sort of radiation, strikes the planet, kicking up dust, blotting out the sun, and killing 90% of the people on earth.
In the wreckage, the remains of Rubinelle and Lazuria have to band together against a common enemy. The NRA (New Rubinelle Army), led by Admiral Greyfield, and, later, the IDS (Intelligent Defense System) corporation, led by the mad Dr. Caulder, and his clone army.

c.) Uneasy discoveries (2150 CC)
While the planet is still recovering from the meteor, it is discovered that the meteor was actually a vessal for a space-creature called Deoxys. Deoxys goes dormant and hides out on a small island outside of Japan.
The meteor was also giving off strange radiation that accelerated the evolution of other animals and plants on the planet.

d.) Rediscovery of the Triforce (Immediately after)
The meteor had uncovered the Triforce in its impact. The rediscovered Triforce was not seen for long though, as an animal wounded in the blast but miraculously not dead, found the lost relic. The latent psychic energy combined with the radiation from space to cause a fusion of the beast and the triforce to take place, creating a powerful creature called Arceus to form.

e.) Discovery of Pokemon (2156 CC)
The first recorded Pokemon (Portmanteau of “Pocket” and “Monster,” inspired by the deceptively small, yet incredibly lethal early specimens.) is observed in the African plains, Bulbasaur. Its unique biological makeup and vicious defense mechanism quickly propelled it to the top of its environment, and other animals, without the appropriate defenses, quickly died out. Other species were soon discovered.

f.) Creation of Legendaries (2160-2200 CC)
Arceus used his power, as well as the last of the consciousness of the Hylian Goddesses to create a series of “Legendary” pokemon. They were still of the same makeup as other pokemon, and thus could be caught, though with some difficulty, but owing to their unique genetic structure, were unable to mate with their natural cousins.
Misunderstanding the origins of these beasts, many people assumed that the Legendaries were the Gods who created the world, or other such religious assumptions. One religion in particular arose to dominance in Sinnoh, around the pokemon Dialga, Palkia, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, as lesser gods and with Arceus as the god of all things.
Once Arceus’ power was diminished enough, he went dormant in the Sinnoh region of Japan.

14.) Society in ruins (2200-3000 CC; Pokemon; Mother 3, Kid Icarus)

a.) Return to Feudal society in Japan. (2200-2220 CC)
The “Pokemon” had become so violent and dangerous, that large society was not allowed to form. Instead, civilization had to survive in small pockets with disparate government. There was no longer a formal leader to the Japanese society, for example, and the country lived in relative anarchy for the rest of its existence.
Pokemon Trainers quickly took up the mantle as the dominant group. Using Pokeballs, small compression devices that could effectively capture a weakened pokemon, trainers could tame the dangerous creatures, and allow them to fight against each other. Leagues quickly spread around the various islands of Japan, and almost the entirety of society was obsessed with the capture and training of Pokemon.
The Gym system, an interesting throwback to the Schools of swordsmanship in the feudal era, were popular places to test your might, and like in the feudal dojos, if you won, you got to take home the emblem of the dojo, or Badge.
While battle was the most common, Pokemon were also used in nearly every other instance, including cooking, construction, and war. Humanity quickly fell out of the usage of technology, to instead embrace Pokemon. The only hint of the time they were in was the space-age medical facilities and, of course, the pokeballs themselves.
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:21 No.12930106
b.) Nowhere island (2223-2224 CC)
On the far off “Nowhere Island” a sparse society was forming from the ruins. Unlike the rest of the world, Pokemon were an untapped resource, and normal animals were raised instead in the old style. This quickly came to an end when the Pig Mask army invaded and set up a police state on the island.
Lucas, a boy whose mother and brother had died years before(And, unbeknownst to anyone, is a distant relative of Ness and Ninten), is forced to get to the bottom of the Pig Mask army, who is industrializing and stripping the soul from his hometown, as well as experimenting on the local flora and fauna. He enlists the help of Duster, a local thief by trade, Kumatora, the princess of a nearby castle who, miraculously, has the power of PSI, thanks once again to Palutena, and Boney, Lucas’ dog.
They fight their way through, helping various people, pulling out the needles to awaken a great dragon which they believe will help them, and setting things right. They also meet a mysterious Masked man. They finally make their way to “New Pork City.”
The Pig King is actually Pokey, made to seem old but still possessing the mind of a child, and the Masked man is actually Claus, brought back to life.
They defeat Pokey, and he is trapped forever in the “Absolutely safe machine.” They then race to pull out the final needle to awaken the dragon, but are ambushed by Claus. Lucas defeats him, and pulls the final needle out, awakening the dragon and destroying Nowhere island, but saving everyone.

c.) Palutena fades away
Almost immediately after the conflict on Nowhere island, Palutena fades away forever.

15.) Humans disappear (3000 CC onward)

a.) Decline of Earth
Humans on earth have all but died out thanks to the dangerous world they live in. in their place are the evolutions of the pokemon that have survived and still continue to evolve rapidly. Since the humans have all died out, all of the earth creatures have taken to small forms, the size of mice and insects, as an evolutionary measure of protection.

b.) The planet Hocotate. (3200 CC)
Captain Olimar, the owner of a freight ship from the Planet Hocotate, crash lands on Earth. Oxygen is poisonous to Olimar’s race, however, so he must use the help of the Pikmin, a race of creatures who never evolved out of human domestication, and so follow authority blindly and with startling accuracy. With the Pikmin’s help, Olimar is able to rebuild his ship.
Almost the minute he touches down on Hocotate however, he learns that the President is deep in debt, and had to sell company assets to pay it off. Fortunately, the bottlecap Olimar had brought back as a souvenir turns out to be worth 100 pokos, which is more than a years salary. To expunge the debt, Olimar, Louie, and the President travel to Earth and, with the help of the pikmin, collect enough “Treasure” to pay off the debt 10 times over.
>> Some additions Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:22 No.12930145
As for how Kid Icarus fits into the timeline:

Basically, from Giygas' psychic remnants, the first sentient races formed before humans, completely from energy. Those Energy creatures were the three Sisters who settled in Hyrule, Whatever gods or goddesses preside over Fire Emblem games (Perhaps Yune and that other bitch from Radiant Dawn), and Palutena and Medusa.

Palutena, a benevolent being formed from the subconscious minds of the four kids, is formed after the angels of Judeo Christian faith. Medusa is then created as her foil, based on half-remembered snippets of Greek Mythology. Palutena, using her powers, creates a sky world, and fashions parts of the Deep Darkness to serve as a sort of "Underworld" into which she banishes the evil Medusa.

From Palutena springs forth a race of angels in her image.

About a hundred or so years afterwards, while the primordial soup is still bubbling away, Medusa strikes the skyworld and takes over. Palutena is taken captive, and her angels are left scattered and leaderless, and most turned to stone.

Enter Pit, a small but brave angel who is the lone survivor of a battle in the underworld. Having heard of Palutena's plight, he abandons the battleground in the underworld and works his way back up to skyworld, fighting Medusa's horrific creations in his way. Using the three treasures created by Palutena's smiths (One of which is the same bow and arrow set that Link later uses to defeat ganon, one of which is Link's mirror shield with a different name, and one of which is a great suit of armor (Perhaps the same one that is unearthed by Malo in TP)) Pit destroys Medusa and save Palutena, and, thus, Angel land and the earth. They are married promptly afterwards.

What's your point?
>> Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:22 No.12930160
This does not last long however, for as the timeline gets closer to the modern age, Palutena (As well as other "Gods") begin to lose influence and power, and, around the beginning of the ADs, Skyworld disappears entirely.

Palutena, however, lived on as a vague presence well into the 2000s, most notably as Paula's Guardian angel.

Interesting note though. Since Paula was in the past, before Palutena was created, Palutena could not assist Paula to kill Giygas, thus leaving their friends in the 90s to blow Giygas' face off with the combined psychic energy of their prayers. In that brief time without purpose, Palutena disappeared entirely, leaving only a single free-roaming particle of Giygas' influence, which finally manifested itself in Kumatora, years later, and finally disappeared altogether as humans died out.

Perhaps when Hyrule was finally destroyed at the end of Wind Waker, the Triforce was finally lost and went dormant, and the immense power laid dormant for thousands of years until just before the Pokemon era hit, when the Triforce was unearthed by the Advance Wars meteor and found by a surviving wounded Goat or some other creature that Arceus might remind you of. The radiation coming off of the Deoxys Meteor caused a fusion to occur, making the Goat and the Triforce on and the same creature.
>> THE END Anonymous 04/01/08(Tue)00:23 No.12930175
Given new form, the new Creature named Arceus created the further Pokemon pantheon (Mew, Dialga, Palkia, the Psychic elves, Ho-oh and Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquayza etc.), perhaps further facilitating the violent transition between AW:DoR and Pokemon, and also speeding up the evolution of other pokemon as a defense mechanism. By the time Society could get back on it's feet (Around Red/Blue time) Most of the Legendaries had gone dormant.

Of course, the Legendaries aren't gods in the classic sense like Plutena, Yuna etc. were, but they still held power over their designated element, while still being possible to catch in compression devices calibrated to absorb the traces of Deoxys radiation all Pokemon creatures give off.
