You are looking at it in the wrong way. Medium is not important.

And most importantly of all, create only for yourself. Write, or draw, or sing about stuff you want to write, draw, or sing about. Not what you think people want to read, look at, or listen too.

The OP provided something to start off the chain, much of the thread posted based on the OP, but my thoughts were not stimulated much by it so I went through the rest of the thread. I used to be the same way, but lately (more due to boredom at work than I'd like to admit) I have been writing alot. I buy those oh-so-sexy but expensive moleskines to do it in, as well.

Anyways, here is something that I think might help you. It certainly helped me to begin to write more.

I often wonder, what if we are truly alone in the universe? What if, despite what even skepctics say goes against all logic, life in this planet was indeed just a cosmic mistaken, something that wasn't meant to be? What if, whenever is that we resolve our differences and advance forward and we finally go out there to find some one else like us... there is no one else like us, and in fact there is NO one out there? Nothing of the galactic federations we dream about, no evil empires, no bizarre hive mind creatures, or not even fungus growing on rocks? just the vastness of space, cold and beautiful, with only us to admire it.

End of the second season, I'm hoiping. If they do it first season, that seems rather rushed. In fact, despite how annoying the week wait between episodes is, I still feel they're rushing things. They shouldn't introduce the entire rogues gallery one after another. There should be some episodes in between, breathing space, dealing with an already introduced villain, or with some slightly less Super-villainous villains. Like when they crammed Vulture and the Enforcers into the same episode. What was up with that?

Anyway, that's presuming they don't puss out over the whole "killing Gwen" thing.

I think life is a mistake, because we are the only thing in the universe that defies entropy, and we continue to defy it against all odds.

its chilling to think that, by all rights, you really shouldn't even exist.

Couple that with the fact that our ancient ancestors, before they left africa to populate the rest of the world, had nearly gone extinct, like 99.9% of life on the planet.

We were down to a gene pool of less than five thousand. Total. Thats how many people we are descended from now.
