We had a thread in /v/ about sprite art that someone had found on Pixiv.
Apparently KND is popular in Japan.

It was super effective.

Pivix is a great place to find comic fanart. Seriously, searching for "amekomi" in katakana yields over 200 pages.

I only wish there was a way to translate comic/cartoon series into moonrunes to make searching for specific characters easier.

Oh, god, don't even. Hold on, though, I can get you a link to "amekomi - related tags", one sec. And then just use Google Translate to get an idea of what's what.

It had the same basic stylistic issues, but they were used in a bit more moderation, so I didn't dislike it as much.

Thanks, that sorta helps. It's cool that a bunch of the tags are in english, I didn't know searching "MLAATR" or "BEN10" would get results. I wish all the cartoon/comic tags were like that.

Its because it still airs reruns in the Japanese CN, with so many other old shows as well, due to translation being slow as hell they're CN is still 5-10 years back.
Even the old Tom and Jerry still airs

It's easier for me because I actually do know katakana (it's not very hard to learn, frankly). Just be aware that in most cases you're not going to see nearly as many results as you would by copypasting the moonrunes into the search bar.

How to find moonrunes of your favorite show or comic:
1: Go to its Wikipedia page.
2: Search the left column for this: 日本語. It will be in the Ns.
3: Click it to go to the Japanese Wikipedia entry.
4: Copy the bold text page title.
5: Paste to Pixiv search and click.
